What are the benefits of bentonite clay face mask?
Bentonite clay has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties. The clay can be used on skin and hair. When used as a clay mask, it acts like a sponge on the skin. As the mask tightens it absorbs excess oil, removes dead skin cells, and draws out impurities, like sebum from your skin. Too much sebum can lead to acne. In addition to removing oil and clogged pores, the clay is known to calm inflamed breakouts. Though a bentonite clay mask is beneficial for oily skin and acne, it can be used on all skin types, including sensitive skin.
How often should I use a face mask?
To get the benefits of a clay mask, individuals with oily or acne prone skin should use almost daily. Individuals with dry or sensitive skin should use once or twice a week. A side effect of the bentonite clay mask is dry skin, so use a face serum or face moisturizer after using the detox mask.
