Wisconsin small-batch skincare brand, rooted in homestead goat milk soap, is now verified free of animal testing across its entire supply chain
Richfield, Wis. — October, 2026 — Ollie Skincare, a woman-owned, small-batch skincare company in Wisconsin, has earned certification from the Leaping Bunny Program, the internationally recognized standard for cosmetics and personal care products made without animal testing.
Leaping Bunny certification goes further than a cruelty-free label on a package. Ollie Skincare committed to a fixed cut-off date after which neither the company nor any of its ingredient suppliers may conduct, commission, or take part in animal testing. The brand also put a supplier monitoring system in place, collected signed declarations from its suppliers, agreed to independent audits, and will recommit to the program every year.
The certification covers the full Ollie Skincare line, including its goat milk soaps, whipped tallow, balms, serums, and body care.
"Ollie Skincare started on our family's four-acre homestead, where a surplus of milk from our dairy goats taught me to make soap," said Kerrieanne Lischka, owner and formulator of Ollie Skincare. "Caring for animals has always been part of who we are. Leaping Bunny gives our customers independent proof that nothing we make, and none of the ingredients we buy, is tested on animals."
Leaping Bunny is not a vegan certification, and products containing goat milk, tallow, or beeswax can qualify. The program focuses only on animal testing, which, unlike ingredient labeling, is not regulated by law. Ollie Skincare lists every ingredient on its products so customers can see exactly what goes into each one.
Ollie Skincare now appears in Leaping Bunny's Compassionate Shopping Guide, a directory of certified cruelty-free brands. Shoppers can find Ollie Skincare products online at ollieskincare.com and in person at farmers markets and craft fairs across southeastern Wisconsin.
