Accessibility

Ollie Skincare is a small, woman-owned business, and we want everyone to be able to shop with us, learn about our products and get in touch, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the widely used standards for making websites usable by people with disabilities.

What we've done

  • Images that carry information have text descriptions (alt text) for screen readers.
  • Text and buttons use colors with enough contrast to be easy to read.
  • You can move through the site with a keyboard, and the item you're on is clearly outlined.
  • A "skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen reader users jump past the menu.
  • Moving text has been removed, and animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • You can zoom in on any page.
  • Ingredients are listed in plain text on every product page.

Known limitations

Some features on our site come from other companies, such as product reviews, the skin quiz and email sign-up forms. We choose tools that support accessibility and report problems to those companies when we find them, but we don't control their code. If one of these features doesn't work for you, contact us and we'll help another way.

We review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them. This is ongoing work, not a one-time project.

Tell us if something doesn't work

If you have trouble using any part of our website, or need information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll do our best to fix it. We're also happy to help you place an order directly.
