What are the benefits of goat milk soap?

We make cold-process soap, which lets us control every ingredient: no added detergents, just oils, butters and goat milk. Goat milk's natural fats and lactic acid give a creamy lather that cleans without stripping skin's natural oils. We add sunflower oil from Century Sun Oil in Pulaski, Wisconsin, for extra nourishment.

How do I use bar soap in the shower?

A natural soap saver bag makes it easy. Without one, wet your skin, rub the bar between your hands for about 20 seconds to build a lather, spread it over your body and rinse with warm water.

Where should I store bar soap?

On a tray or dish with drainage and good air flow, like our Soap Tray. Letting the bar dry out between uses makes it last much longer.

Is sunflower oil good for skin?

Yes. Sunflower oil is light, absorbs easily and contains oleic acid and vitamin E. It suits most skin types. Ours comes from Century Sun Oil in Pulaski, Wisconsin.

What are lotion bars and how do you use them?

A lotion bar is a solid moisturizer made from beeswax, oils and butters. It stays solid at room temperature but softens with body heat, so you just rub it on dry skin. Store it in its reusable tin.

Why do you infuse herbs in your oils?

We grow herbs like lavender and calendula and slowly infuse them in oil to capture their properties. It takes time, but it's a simple, natural way to bring botanicals into balms and salves like our Calendula Herbal Salve.

What are the benefits of beeswax in skincare?

Beeswax helps skin hold on to moisture and forms a light protective layer, so lotion bars and balms help shield skin from wind and cold.
