Questions about Clay Facial Soap

How does Clay Facial Soap cleanse without drying out skin?
It's made with the same recipe as our Goat Milk Soap: goat milk, shea butter, coconut oil, tallow, lard, sunflower and castor oils, plus clay. The clay gives a smooth, clean feel while the creamy lather leaves skin feeling clean but not tight. It's unscented.
Is this soap handmade?
Yes. Each bar is handmade in small batches in Richfield, Wisconsin, using the cold-process method, a slow, traditional technique that keeps the natural ingredients intact.
What's the difference between Green Zeolite Clay and Rose Clay?
Both use the same unscented goat milk soap base; the difference is the clay. Rose Clay (rose kaolin) gives a soft pink bar, and Green Zeolite Clay gives a green bar. Choose whichever you prefer.
Can I use Clay Facial Soap every day?
Yes. It's made for daily facial cleansing. Lather in your hands, massage gently over damp skin, rinse well, and follow with your usual moisturizer if you like.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
Yes. It's unscented, and its creamy goat milk base gives a gentle, moisturizing cleanse that's a good fit for dry or sensitive skin. As with any new facial product, patch test first if you react easily.
