Questions about Nourishing Makeup Removing Balm

How does the Cleansing Balm remove makeup?
It melts from a balm into an oil that dissolves makeup, sunscreen and impurities. Add a splash of warm water and it emulsifies into a milky rinse, so it washes off cleanly instead of leaving an oily film.
Is the Cleansing Balm good for all skin types?
Yes. It's made for all skin types, including anyone who wants a gentle end-of-day oil cleanse that doesn't strip skin. If your skin is sensitive, patch test first, since it contains lemon essential oil.
Do I need to use a second cleanser after it?
No, it's up to you. It works as a single-step cleanse, or you can follow with your regular cleanser for a double cleanse, which many people like after heavy makeup or sunscreen.
What's in the Cleansing Balm?
Aloe butter, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil and jojoba oil make up the base, with vitamin E and lemon essential oil. An emulsifier lets it rinse off with water.
How big is the jar and how should I store it?
It's a 4 oz (113 g) reusable jar. Keep it in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed, and use clean, dry fingers so water doesn't get into the balm.
