Good to know

Ollie started with goat milk soap made from the extra milk of our own dairy goats, and every product is still made by hand in small batches. Wash with a goat milk soap, then moisturize with Whipped Tallow or a Solid Lotion Bar while your skin is still slightly damp.

For bites and itchy spots there's Bug Bite Balm, and Calendula Herbal Salve is a rich balm for rough hands and elbows.

Frequently asked questions

What's the best natural moisturizer for very dry skin?
For very dry skin, try Whipped Tallow, a rich butter of grass-fed tallow with jojoba and sunflower oils. Solid Lotion Bar (beeswax, shea and mango butter) is great on the go, and Calendula Herbal Salve helps with chapped spots.
How do I use a lotion bar?
Rub the bar directly on your skin. It's solid at room temperature but softens with body heat, so a little glides on easily. Keep it in its tin between uses.
What is tallow and why is it in skincare?
Tallow is rendered beef fat, a traditional, rich moisturizer with a balm-like feel. We use grass-fed tallow whipped with plant oils for a soft butter for face and body.
Is bar soap better than body wash for dry skin?
It can be. Our goat milk bars are made from oils, butters and goat milk, so they give a creamy lather that leaves skin soft rather than tight, with far less packaging than a plastic bottle.
