Moisturizer FAQ
Is sunflower oil good for skincare?
Sunflower oil contains several skin loving compounds including oleic acid and vitamin E.
Our sunflower oil comes from Century Sun Oil, in Pulaski Wisconsin.
The oil is highly absorbent, and won’t clog pores. It is safe for al skin types, including dry, normal,
oily, and acne-prone.
What are the benefits of beeswax in skincare?
Beeswax is a natural humectant. It helps your skin attract and retain moisture. When used in a lotion bar it locks in all the oils and prevents the wind from chaffing your skin.
Why do you infuse herbs in your oil?
We love growing herbs from lavender to calendula. Infusing in oil is an easy way to extract the natural properties from the herbs. The process is relatively easy, but takes time.
The oils are skin safe and can be blended with all natural ingredients to create nourishing skincare products.
What is the difference between hand salve and bee balm?
What are lotion bars and how do you use them?
A lotion bar is a solid block of lotion, used for moisturizing and protecting your skin. Our lotion bars are handmade with all natural
ingredients that stay solid at room temperature, but melt a little from
body heat, making it easy to apply the lotion bar as needed and store in a reusable container.
